"Path of Glory" - Stanley Kubrick
This is sequence of the movie "Path of Glory" where a german lady sing a military song to a french soldiers. Der Treue Husar (The brave Husar) is a german military song.
Spielberg mentioned in his interview on Kubrick that on the day Kubrick passed away, Spielberg showed this scene to his friends in a gathering in memory of Kubrick. It left them in tears.

He was always a student of cinema -- always with eyes open, ears listening, always wanting to learn more, always listening to the magic of cinema, and never content with saying "enough -- I know all I need to know." That is why he was great.
