To Me, a short film by local filmmaker Ray Pang has been shortlisted for the
Jury's awards and People's Choice award of Louis Vuitton’s second edition
Journey Awards contest. Headed by Luca Guadagnino, the contest call upon
emerging filmmakers to interpret through film the subject of encounters and
what it means to them.

from the media, relatives, or friend's parents having passed away from cancer. The
wakeup call only came the day a friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer at a
young age. It can happen to anyone and what can we do about it?”
“Memories are what humans
live upon and leave behind when they are gone.It reminds us to
appreciate life and the things we encounter in our journey.What
matters is the memories we have shared, and that it will live forever.What if finding your late
loved ones is just a step away?It’s only in the joy and pain;
I can feel him closer to me.”

ambassador for Singapore. We represent Singapore’s diverse heritage and
emerging creative talents in this contest. Our entry will allows us the
opportunity to bring aspiring filmmakers closer to the dream of Singapore
becoming a creative media hub.
