+65 is a story about two people who are trying to make sense of what it really means to be a Singaporean, as they are forced to work together on a commissioned project about Rajaratnam.

Their eventual collaborative efforts, blossoming love, and acceptance of each other’s cultural diversity and differing perspectives thus become a reflection of what Singapore needs to embrace to develop as a nation.

Closer To Me gets to screen in Cannes!

Great news for everyone ! Not only Closer To Me gets to screen in Cannes. 2 other friends of mine, Christina Choo's Silent Sins and Edwin Ho's El gris Perfecto and another singaporean, Wei Liang's film will be screening their films at the Cannes too ! Singapore's got talent too ! Congrats!

It was great to screen the full-length uncensored BREAK in Singapore, at Cathay Cineplexes with other talented local filmmakers (Edwin Ho, Leon Cheo, Ning Lee, William Liew, Taj) under the Shnit International Film Festival Singapore Special Program. - with David Lee (SFS) the curator and festival programmer Sharon Jing.

Closer To Me, a short film by local filmmaker Ray Pang has been shortlisted for the Jury's awards and People's Choice award of Louis Vuitton’s second edition Journey Awards contest. Headed by Luca Guadagnino, the contest call upon emerging filmmakers to interpret through film the subject of encounters and what it means to them.

--> “We have all seen or heard from the media, relatives, or friend's parents having passed away from cancer. The wakeup call only came the day a friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer at a young age. It can happen to anyone and what can we do about it?”  

“Memories are what humans live upon and leave behind when they are gone.
It reminds us to appreciate life and the things we encounter in our journey.
What matters is the memories we have shared, and that it will live forever.
What if finding your late loved ones is just a step away? It’s only in the joy and pain; I can feel him closer to me.”
